176 pages (complete). A venerable copy. The publication is housed in a beautifully crafted box (quarter leather). This is in exceptionally smart condition. Dove grey boards / blue leather spine. The publication itself is resolute, assured. Of much interest is that there is a stamp on the title page indicating that the book comes from the collection of SAUL SOLOMON - a very influential and well known Cape Town publisher and politician. He had initialled the top of the page. The book is considerably annotated but it is not possible to tell by whom (Solomon or a subsequent owner). The covers are tatty. They are worn all about with even an attempted repair. They are marked and creased. They are secure. The contents are benign. The early and later pages are much foxed as is the occasional page thereon. In general, and by far, the contents are mild-mannered, orderly, tidy, clear, confident, more than competent, agreeably amenable. fk. Our orders are shipped using tracked courier delivery services.
