148 pages (complete). From the Library of Sir Alpheus Fuller Williams (for many years the General Manager of the De Beers Diamond Mines in Kimberley; also known for his memoirs of his 'diamond' days at the mine). His ex-libris plate of an illustration of Williams' house in Muizenberg, 'Vergenoeg'. This pasted to the front pastedown. This has some few age-related marks. The frontispage has a stamped number. A benign copy of this RARE title. Pocket/ slim-sized. The boards are much marked, worn, scuffed from storage and age. They are also steady, assured. The frontis and end papers have storage wear, tanning. The pages have odd spots, sprinkles of foxing here and there. In general the rough-cut pages are thick, healthy, clean, clear, neat, orderly, confident, most pleasing, more than competent, eager. fk.
